AA: So TMS definitely helped me be a better parent and you know I never have been a yeller or an aggressive parent but I noticed especially when the kids got out of school and it was so unexpected that I was just so frazzled. I didn’t know how to keep up with their needs and keep up with my needs and then do all of my other responsibilities having the kids all day every day. And I noticed in the beginning that my responses to them sometimes were not the kindest or the softest or and I had to as I went through TMS I noticed that as my anxiety went down, my ability to parent became better because I could genuinely focus, sit and listen and and I felt calm so it didn’t make me feel agitated or cranky. And I think that that has been one of the best things, because obviously my attitude affects everyone around me and I never want it to affect my children and so I think that the – this really helped me see that I can do all the things that I told my mind I couldn’t do and that I’m able to help my kids without being cranky because I don’t feel well. So that was a big thing, the feeling better and having less anxiety has helped big time with my kids.
