Rizwan Khan, PAC has joined our practice as a psychiatric physician assistant (PA) under the direction of Dr. Bruce Hubbard. He has been a PA since 2009, having recently relocated to San Diego from Seattle in November, 2017. Rizwan has worked in the mental health field for the last ten years since graduating from University of Washington Medical School.
Rizwan fluently speaks English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
Rizwan believes that every patient has their own personal dynamics and challenges. A medication that works for one patient may not work for another with the same diagnosis. Listening to each individual’s needs and taking into consideration their unique biochemistry, family history, coping skills, and life circumstances is vital to achieving success.
