AF: Well when I first started I just moved here, completely new city, completely new place. I was so anxious I couldn’t get on the road to drive myself places. I couldn’t get out of the house. And so it was really nice to have a really supportive group that I can come into every day and see somebody and have regular chats with just to start me going, but as we progressed throughout TMS I noticed that I could start driving new places, I had more an upbeat kind of attitude towards things, I wasn’t nervous or shy going through anything. The biggest difference I noticed was I’m sure Avery told you my brother passed away last month, and it was it’s still really hard but i don’t think I could have gotten through it without this honestly. My just my mindset is completely different I don’t feel like I’m falling apart, and I just it is the most helpful thing throughout this whole process is knowing that I’ve had this and that I can get through it.
Dr. W: Yes I am so sorry. But it really has helped you get through this really hard time?
AA: It has unbelievably so. I started this process because my father had passed away and I was just such a mess. I couldn’t get out of bed. I couldn’t stop having suicidal thoughts. And this time around was completely different I felt obviously really upset but I felt like I could get through it I could pull myself out of bed and my brain was felt totally rewired, there was a light at the end of the tunnel for me it was so different.
